Cousin Fun!
"YAHHHHH!!!!" We went to the temple and Madison and Mesia played with Grandma and Grandpa Evans. It was so nice to make it to the temple. It's been a long time.
Best of friends.

Family Get-Together
Alexa is growing up so fast. She is so beautiful and full of life...
Best Buddies. They played together all night. I hope Abby and Cannon are the same way:-)
"No more pictures please. Can't a man get a nap without interruptions?"
"Cheese..."

Sprinkler Fun
We just said goodbye to Aunt Lilley and went inside...we then noticed Madison wasn't inside so we went outside and Madison was running through the sprinklers in her Pajamas. We put her in a swimsuit and let her go. She loved it! She then lived in a swim diaper while Mesia was here and they played in the sprinkler. I'll load photos of that later.
Aren't they sooo cute together? I just love to watch them play.
"Here Ellie, eat this." Madison went and visited all her cousins and loved it. She kept meeting another brother or sister of Brian's. It must have been a bit overwhelming since she only has one sister.
Brian said that Madison loved wearing Grandpa's hat and that she wore it the entire night at Adam's baseball game.

Fun with Mesia!!!!!
Madison was dying to go into the water, but Brian kept telling her 'no'. Then Dan rolled up his pants to go in and so Brian told Madison she could go in. She just ran in the water and got all wet. Mesia was a bit more cautious, but had fun and squealed in delight with Madison.
Madison feeding the ducks. She has a good arm:-)
Home to Utah
Cannon loves to stand while Abby loves to sit...
Aren't they so cute together? Canon just woke up from a nap, but gave us a smile...we couldn't catch it on camera.
See...Abby loves to sit! It was so good to see Emily. It's so fun to have babies the same age. I'm sure they will be good friends:-)

Summer Fun!
Weather is as unpredictable as taking two children shopping:-) When I get one to stop crying the other one feels this urge to fill the noise gap and contribute. Let's just say we go to a different store every time. It makes me feel better...I don't want people saying, "Oh, no, here they are again." Back to the weather...that is Madison who insisted on going outside even though it was raining. she loves the rain and thinks that sprinklers are rain.
Madison decided she wanted to get in the dryer after I took the clothes out. It was all fun and games until the inside started to turn as she tried to get out. I wish I got that face on camera:-) Hopefully that will put a stop to climbing in the dryer. The smily face is what we call her funny face. We finally caught it on camera that day. She makes her eyes really big and tries to smile as big as she can. Brian taught her that:-)
Madison told Daddy today, "I go pwayground. I go water park." It was really just a pool in someones backyard by the playground. She was copying the big kids and running from the house to the pool and diving in.
It's so fun to hear her put sentences together. Here are a few of her favorite phrases:
"I be back. ok?"
"See you water (later with a 'w')."
"I go work. at opital (hospital)."
"I go bafroom, ok Sarah?"
"Oh, shoot."
"I say 'hi'"
"I go see cow. I say moo."
"Biver (River) Look Sarah, yahhhhh. Two Rivers." (If we cross a bridge and there is water on each side...that means there are two rivers. Every time we cross a bridge she thinks we are crossing a river. If the bridge isn't over a river I hear, "I can't see em sarah. Where it go?")
Best Scripture Study!
Madison and I were reading scriptures during breakfast about King Noah and that he was bad and out of the blue Madison said, "Heavenly Father loves you." It was so touching. I guess she hears more than we think she hears.

Abby's a chunk!
We had Abby's two month check up:
Weight: 12 lbs. 13 oz. 95th percentile
Length: 24 inches 97th percentile
We tend to grow them big out here on the East coast. Must be something in the water.
Madison is no small one either. For her two year check up:
Weight: 30 lbs. somewhere in the 80th percentile
Length: 36 inches (3 feet) somewhere in the 90th percentile
According to the pediatrician that puts Madison at being about 5 ft. 9 inches or so (when she is full grown). She will be a baller for sure!

Monshire Trip
So, the first picture is of Madison with her friend inside the Montshire museum. They walked all over with those things up to their faces. The sun came out so we went outside to what Madison refers to as the water park. The first picture is of Madison at the beginning...notice she is dry, and then my failed attempt to roll up her capris so that she could get her feet wet. You will notice her standing under the water spouts getting soaked. She had fun and that's all that mattered. We usually bring a swim suit, swim diapers, water shoes, and the whole works...but it was raining and cold when we got there:-) Welcome to the NH!
Abby's Smile!
Fish eat what?
I was working on the computer and turned around to see Madison sporting Abby's bow. She then went into the bathroom and began eating her crackers on the toilet seat. Oh gross! I'm just glad I cleaned it recently.
Madison held hands with a different boy than she was kissing a few months ago. She is starting young. She held this little boys hand while walking all throughout the backyard.
Madison got a new fish from her friend because her friend was leaving for the summer. It's a goldfish she named George. Anyway, yesterday she had to see her fish while she ate her scrambled eggs for breakfast. Next thing I know there are bits of scrambled eggs in the fish bowl. I guess she thought he would like scrambled eggs as much as she does. She keeps us laughing. I should have taken a picture, but I thought I should clean out the eggs pretty quickly. It reminds me of the story of our neighbor who washed his fish with soap and put him out to dry because he was stinky.

Daddy Daughter Moments
Brian sent me this e-mail with the attached article. For all you dad's out there with young daughters (or old) this is a fun one to read: His e-mail was as follows:
"there's a neat article by doug robinson today. it made me think of madison and me" http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,700231254,00.html?pg=1
It makes me want to enjoy every moment with my girls because they say they grow up quickly. Every day seems like a week sometimes, yet other days fly by and weeks come and go. I hope you enjoy. I made me laugh, reminisce, and want to hug Madison and tell her not to grow up so fast.

Mommy moments
Abby is like her father in that she likes to stay up late. So, I was trying to get her to go to sleep tonight by rocking her. The rocking chair is in Madison's room (we finally put them in the same room) and it was so neat to rock Abby and watch Madison sleeping. They both had their binky's in their mouthes just sucking away. Madison is so cute when she sleeps. She had her face up against the side with her head opposite her pillow. She had both arms out one direction bent in such a funny way. It looks totally uncomfortable, but I guess it works for her. It's the small moments when I slow down enough and enjoy the minutes of having two young children. It was nice to end the day this way since it was a tough one. I laid Abby down and walked out and five minutes later she was crying again. She is a pro at faking us out! It drives me crazy...Brian has the patience and is putting Abby to sleep as I type. He is so good with her and is so good at putting her to sleep. What am I going to do when I have to put her to sleep by myself? He has done it the past five nights after I have tried and failed a few times. This is just one more reason why I love Brian.
"Look Brian. I so cute."
As I was putting my clothes away, I began to put my basketball shorts in the bottom drawer of my dresser when I hear, "I want that." (the famous phrase we hear all day long. "that" means anything Madison wants and it's our responsibility to figure out what 'that' is.) So, I handed them over and Madison began to put them on. When she got them on she said, "Look Bwian, I so cute." Then she had me take a picture of her over and over and over again. And of course after each picture she had to look at herself to which she just laughed. She is so silly sometimes and loves it. She was sad when I finally stopped taking pictures. I just had to post a few of them for you to see how excited she was to have her picture taken. She is never this way when I want to take her picture. She usually runs away from the camera like her daddy does:-) I told her that Aunt Lilley would be proud of her for wearing her basketball shorts. We are trying to start her young:-)
