Photo shoot Practice

I tried to do a natural lit photo shoot with Madison and so that is why the pictures look a bit grainy. But we caught her personality! By the time I wanted to try with a flash she was done...we will see about tonight:-)

Pretty Princess

Madison insisted that I put all of these colorful paperclips into her hair. She kept saying "pretty". She thought she was quite beautiful! Well, she is in my eyes:-)

Winter Carnival

For the first picture I asked Madison to go and get me a diaper and she came down the stairs carrying all of these diapers. It was so funny. The other pictures are of occum pond for the annual Winter Carnival. The big snow sculpture is of an octopus wrapped around a submarine pulling it down. The other ice sculpture is of a castle that has an ice slide that Madison went down many times. They cut the blocks of ice out of the pond! It was amazing! We enjoyed going that night and Madison went down the hill by the pond on a tube that went out onto the icy pond. I wasn't excited to go at first, but we ended up having and enjoyable time and we even got to roast some marshmellows...which I have been craving. The last two pictures are of Madison the 'artist' and then of Madison the 'handywoman'. She loves to do what I do and I was tightening the rocking chair with allen wrenches and she had to copy me. She was so cute about it and tightened everywhere I did. That meant the bottom of the rocking chair:-)

The Monster Hill

Here is the hill I talk about below. I wonder if she is having as much fun as her daddy? The hill was even bigger than I got on camera. It continued on even more. Daddy and Madison had lots of fun together.

These are some of our friends from the sledding party. Madison got really brave and wanted to go down the big hill...I mean a huge hill with bumps and everything. Brian tried to go up just halfway and she kept pointing and saying, "top, top." She went down three times before she was done. They hit a big bump at the bottom and I think that ended her desire for the top again.

This is our Elder's Quorum Annual Sleeding Party up at the golf course in Hanover. We had a blast! It was Madison's first time sledding...we aren't for sure she loved it because she wouldn't ever smile, but she kept asking to go down the hill. The other picture is of her friend whom she asks for constantly. He was being pushed down the hill by his daddy.
