Dinner at Seth and Lacey's

Isn't this so cute? He knew he wasn't suppose to touch the tree, and right after I took this photo he pulled a candy cane off the tree and ran of with his loot! It was so funny!

I asked the girls to get together for a picture. Abby pushed Madison away and then finally gave in...

Now we know why she didn't want to take a picture with Madison:-) Gotta love these girls. Today in church Madison and Abby both had a bag of fruit snacks and Abby ate hers really fast and then Madison shared two of hers with Abby and then kept and saved two more for them later. One was for Abby and one was for Madison. She did give Abby one later. It was so cute.

Aunt Missy and Madison were playing this game where Melissa would puff out her cheek and Madison would kiss it down!

My little nephew...isn't he adorable? He loves his thumb more than Abby does! They are cute together. I hope they become best of friends.

Silly Madison!

Mason was leaving and I called his name to take his picture and this is how he posed for me.

"Now let me see if you have any cavities." Poor Joshua puts up with a lot from my two girls. They just love and adore him and sometimes don't know how to show it through just hugs...

Sam, Melissa, Abby, and Madison. We all went to Lacey and Seth's house for dinner and to present VV and CL with their family picture that we took. It was a fun filled night as you can see.

Abby loved this and kept saying, "again, again."

This just made the girls laugh and Joshua got a workout. The things that entertain kids is amazing.

The happy couple that brought us all into the world! What would we do without them? In the proclamation to the family is states that children are entitled to a loving mother and father...something like that. I'm grateful we had that blessing!

Candy Anyone?

Grandma made all the frosting while we worked on our houses. It was so much fun and Madison really got into it this year.

Lael and Abby's house...

Joshua's Adobe hut.

Gingerbread house building zone!

CL did a manger scene! It had Mary, Joseph, a black baby Jesus, shepherd, sheep and donkey in the stable. It was ingenious!

Josh had some foundational problems at the beginning, but ended up making a great adobe hut (that is what he called it).

I helped Madison with the building part, but she decorated the entire thing all by herself. She just told me where to put the 'glue'. I'm glad she didn't know it was tasty frosting. She decorated more than she ate. I can't say the same for Abigail:-)

Lael made this with Abby on her lap. She is a mom in training. Abby even helped squeeze out the frosting to glue the pieces together. She was into the whole building thing until she realized she could eat the candy. It was all over at that point and she was smart to sit with her Aunt Lilley and not me:-)

Wigamania...FHE

Brian went down to the basement to try and find the Christmas tree and this is what he found...it wasn't a Christmas tree that is for sure. The girls had a blast getting these wigs on and then coming out to have their picture taken. What a fun FHE! It started with Brian's famous penny magic tricks with both girls laughing so hard to the wigs in the basement. Now we just need to have a spiritual thought and desert! Gotta love kids.

Where did Abby go? This was Brian's favorite wig on Abby!

Turkey Bowl Fun

This year I was able to play for about 20 minutes and then take a few pictures. I had both girls and it was quite cold and I ran out of snacks, therefore I didn't get very many pictures. Sorry:-( It was fun to watch and play a bit. It's an Evans family tradition to get all the nephews and uncles and play a game a football for a few hours Thanksgiving day morning. It was a good turnout and all had fun! What a great group!

LAtE PoSt!

Turkey Bowl fun!!!! This is for the nephews and Grandma and Grandpa Evans:-)

Best Friends!

One of the best things about being in Utah is the relationship our girls are building with their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We love it and they love it too! Madison and Mesia do preschool together 2 times a week and they just can't wait to see each other. They play so well together. This was them playing outside in the snow for about and hour. I don't know what is so entertaining about the snow and a fake bird, but it keeps them entertained that is for sure.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

"Santa Clause is coming to town..."

Santa came to visit our Evans family Christmas party. It was so fun to hear what each of the neices and newphews wanted for Christmas. Some were quite the tall order! Mesia was the smartest and when asked what she wanted for Christmas she said, "I want a fruit snack." That is what Santa was handing out to each child:-) Gotta love it! Some of what the kids wanted were a horse, car, doll, fruit snack, train, etc. It was a fun filled night!

Evans Christmas Party!!!!

This was our special guest. He just showed up at the door! The kids loved him...well, almost all the kids. Abigail and Madison were scared to death of him. They were the last ones to go. They had to make sure he didn't eat any of the kids first:-) Abby even knows his name and points out every santa clause decoration and says, "santa cwaws."
