Abby says...

It's funny that I find out things I say often because Abby starts to say it. Today I kept hearing her say, to her bear, "Do you want shoes on...or not?" "Want out...or not." She adds "...or not" to the end of every question. She asks this all the time and it is so cute. I now notice how often I say that to her.

I love how she puts her sentences together. "Bed, Madison, Kitty." Translation: Madison's bed has a kitty on it. "Milk please, I want it." "Shoes on, Madison, Please" Translation: "Please put Madison's shoes on me." "Madison, her crying, sad", or "down, all done, please mommy." Translation: "I'm done, please get me down."

Common Phrases:
"What are you doing?"
"Where daddy go Mommy?" I tell her and she says "oh" She asks where everyone is...Madison, Mesia, Anna, Cannon, Grandma, Grandpa, Josh, Emmy, Mommy.
She always says, "ok" if I say something like, "We are going to go in now, ok?" That is something else I must say all the time because Abby always says it:-)

I love the way Abby says Madison. I will have to record that for you. It took her a long time before she could say it. I love how they talk and Abby addresses her as Madison.

Pumpkin hunting

Madison thought this one was the biggest...so we got it! We went and got some pumpkins with Clare, Emily, Mesia, Anna, and our family at Wheeler farm and then came back and had dinner in a pumpkin, treats, and socialized. It was so much fun! I love Halloween! Gotta love the stem!

They have so much fun together! Cousins...ahhhhhhh.

I took this as we were walking to the pumpkin patch. It wasn't posed...isn't that cute! Brian is such a good daddy!

Look at that sassy face. We are going to be in trouble as she gets older. What a great packed personality Madison has...she gets it from me:-) ha ha.

Pumpkin Patch at Wheeler Farm

The Pumpkin Queen...they had so much fun playing with the pumpkins. We have yet to carve them, but will get to it:-)

Mesia could have any size pumpkin for the same price and she chose this. We were able to convince her to 'go big or go home'.

Anna is adorable and walks everywhere. She loved this stick which Abby later found and ate it...at least tried to.

He loved the pumpkins and wanted to hit them all. He sat on them, carried them, hit them, and had a blast with them. He is all boy and I love it! He was trying to be strong. He would even Grunt.

"Goodnight Mommy, I'll see you in the morning."

Madison decided to put herself to bed a few nights ago. We brushed her teeth, said her prayers, we put a diaper on her and she then walked me to her bedroom door, and before closing it said, "Goodnight mommy, I will see you in the morning. And when I wake up I will learn to play the piano." She then proceeded to shut the door and I could hear her in her bed talking to Abby. I expected to see her again or hear her call, but she did in fact put herself to bed.

I was reading her a book the other night and in order to turn the pages I had to lick my finger. Madison looked at me and said, "Don't lick your finger and touch my book. You will ruin it."

During Madison's blessing on the food last night she said, "And thank Jesus for taking my cough...and Abby's cough. And bless that she will never cough again."

Wheeler Farm

Yesterday we went to Wheeler Farm with some of our cousins...it was a blast. The kids loved the animals, treehouse, feeding the horses, and being with cousins. This was the best out of the 15 I took! Hah, Madison looks the best eh? Fun times.

Morning Fun...

Abby on her new/used bike. She just pushes it with her feet and gets really mad if you push her:-)

Abby getting up close and personal to the rolly polly's.

Madison kept giving Abby bugs, but Abby kept dropping them, or they would roll off her hand, or...

they would go down her sleeve. She had two of them down there at one time! It was so cute to see her look for them. Oh, to be a kid again.

Rolly Polly Fun!

They were uploaded backwards...but Madison found a piece of bark with rolly polly's on them. Abby and Madison had so much fun with them. I had to take pictures. We originally went outside to take pictures because Madison wanted to. She wanted to get pictures of Abby and her with pony tails. It was Abby's first Pigtails today!!!!

Abby will use anything soft to rub under her nose while she sucks her thumb. I love it!!!!

This is the Abby look that I get all the time. She tenses up and off sets her teeth! It just makes me laugh...this is even how I see it!

Madison kept saying run, hide, hide, hide...I wonder where she gets that? (Brian does that when I pull out the camera). I was able to catch Madison running in front of the camera. I love her pigtails flying in the air.

Isn't this sweet? I was trying to get them to take a picture together (which has proven impossible), but instead they just wanted to hold hands.

Doctor...Doctor...Call the Doctor!

Sick?

M: "I have a cough. Abby gave it to me because she didn't want it any more."

"I want to marry Abby"

Madison and I were making pizza dough the other night and this is how our conversation went. I had taken off my wedding ring so I could knead the dough and Madison offered to hold it for me.

S: "Madison, that is mommies special ring that daddy gave me when he asked me to marry him.
M: "You are married?"
S: "Yes, to your daddy."
M: "oh, so daddy is married?"
S: "Yes, he is married to me. He asked me to marry him and I said yes."
M: "When I get a special ring I am going to marry Abby."
S: "You have to marry a boy just like mommy married your daddy."
M: "Well, I just want to marry Abby. I will find a boy and then Abby and I will get married together."
S: "Did you know you have to wait until you are 20 or so?"
M: "Yeah, I know."

Adam's Football Game

Adam is the Captain of the Sophomore Football team. We went to support him and watch him play Highland (Brian's high school). Bountiful won by 4 points!

Abby looks like this 50% of the time. If she can hold anything soft and tickle it under her nose, she will suck her thumb. She has used hair in a hairbrush, fuzzies off the floor, hair of dolls, Madison's hair, our garments, scarves, etc. You get the picture. I had to draw the line on the hair in the hair brush. She was leaning down to the bathroom counter to tickle her nose with the hair while sucking her thumb. This thumb sucking thing has gone way too far:-)

This is the 'don't take my picture mom' look.

This is the second pass Adam knocked away. He had a good game. He is number eight!
