Alice in the rain

Today while it was raining, Brian let Alice go and play in the rain.  I couldn't help but get a few pictures of her.  Abigail wanted to play with photoshop and did this:-)

Madison turns 8!

I always knew this day would come, but now it is here and I have an eight year old who will be baptized soon.  Some of the joys Madison brings to this family is her desire to be obedient, her love of others, and her willingness to serve.  We call her the apple sauce girl because every time we need applesauce, she is the one who volunteers to go down to the basement and get some...this is a very common occurrence in our house since we go through a lot of applesauce.  She also has brought a love of music, especially violin music, and she loves to sing and is very good at remembering the words to songs she learns at school and in primary.  She has memorized up to the 8th article of faith and is working on learning all of them.  She has this craving to create and loves to be out in nature.  She is completely in her element outside and were prefer to be outside to any where else.  She is known as the nature girl as school and amongst her friends here in the neighborhood.  The other day we took a walk in the woods and she brought her nature book with her and was identifying flowers and threes.  I am learning so much from her as her appetite for learning is insatiable.  I love you Madison!
