For the RSN (Resident Support Network) we all went to the Pittsfield Fire Station for a tour. It was lots of fun and the girls got their fireman hats and a sticker. They loved it! They were a bit too afraid to walk through the fire truck, but had no problem sitting on it:-)
I love these two...
Here's the RSN group that came. It's so fun to be around women who are going through the same thing as us and at all different stages. What a fun playdate!

Primary Program Success!
How fun is this? Madison had her primary program today and since I had to take pictures of the ward for the photo directory, I snapped some of Madison and Abby in between while waiting. They are so fun! Madison got this picture of Christ from Primary today and her line for the program was, "Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me." She did great until I left to take Abby to the bathroom and that's when she began to cry and had to come and sit with us for the last song. She was so brave and sang so beautifully. It brought me to tears at one point. She is such an angel.
On the car ride home Abby asked what Jesus was doing in the picture. Abby said, "It's just a picture of Jesus, but do you want to know what he did? He taught people, and healed people, and helped them." It was so cute to hear Madison teaching Abby about Jesus. She then said we could hang this picture up in her room to remind us of him and we could pray to him. What a darling little girl!!!!
Abby has this thing with getting her picture taken. If I want her to smile, it doesn't happen...she was so funny and refused to smile and then did this!

This was the best one we could get...I remember when Madison went through this phase. Now she just smiles and poses for the camera whenever I ask...It's a photographers dream come true!
Soccer Playa!
Madison has been so excited to play soccer! We got her shin guards (pink) and cleats. We talked to her about it and counted down the days. It was going to be so great, so I thought. When we got there she was so overwhelmed that she just sobbed. She tried to play with Brian on the field, but still wasn't convinced this was fun and was too overwhelmed to play with all the other kids. So...
Saturday Soccer!!!
Madison sat on the sidelines and watched her team mates play. Next week she said she will play. We went and bought a ball for her to play with and had a fun time that night in the backyard playing. She did great! We took pictures then since I didn't get any of her playing from earlier on Saturday...this is what I got:-)
This is her having fun playing in the back yard. She kicked the ball around with her daddy and loved it! Then she said she wanted to play what daddy loves. I didn't know what she meant. She then squated down in a football stance and says what daddy loves to watch...Oh, she means football:-) Brian had been watching football for a few hours that day and Madison cuddled up with him to watch it...she picked up the football stance from it:-)

Me and my girls!
Mom and girls shoot!
Thanks to a good friend, I now have the pictures I have always wanted. I am always the one behind the camera, so it was so fun to have a mom and daughter shoot with the girls. They were so much fun and cooperated so well. It was just a fun time except for the bugs, beez, and spiders in the field. Next time pants and shoes might be an order:-) What a fun shoot! Thanks Liz!

90 minute Run
Today I ran 90 minutes which was 9 miles. That is the most I have ever run at one time in my entire life!!! It was tough and I'm sure I'll be sore...so I already am sore:-) I am trying to train for a half marathon to run with Lael if she can come out. Brian and I are running a 5K this weekend and I may run a 15K next weekend. We shall see:-) There are tons of women in this ward who run, so I usually have a running partner, which is fun. Brian and I got to go Monday with the girls. Brian of course pushed them and I just focused on running. Even pushing 90 lbs. he was still a lot faster than me and had to run cut backs. The girls loved it of course and cheered me on the whole way:-)

Madison's news
Today when Brian came home Madison followed him upstairs and waited for him to change to tell him her news. She said, "I have news to tell you." She proceeded to tell him, "Today while I was playing with Abby I fell on my head and mom sometimes pokes my eye when she does my hair."
I have to admit that she did fall on her head today and I do poke her in the eye sometimes when I am trying to put her hair up in a ponytail just using my hands. Poor girl...she felt she needed to tell her daddy that.
Abby today at dinner said, "I am cold. Would you turn on the ah an C." Meaning the AC. She is so funny the way she says things. She always says, "turn it off" when she means turn it on. That can be a light, fan, ac, etc. I love that girl!

"I going to the bathroom."
This phrase is fine when it's said in the house since half the time it just means Abby needs to go to the bathroom, but when it's said while standing in line at the post office, where there is no bathroom, is an entirely different experience. Yesterday Abby took her shoes off in the car and since this was our 4th place that day I thought I would just carry her into the post office and hold her until we left. When I entered there was a line of 15 people or so...no way could I hold Abby the entire time. I was going to just leave, but knew it would be tough to come back later since Brian was on call that night, so I set Abby down and let her run around without shoes on. I made it to the front of the line, mailed some packages, talked with the manager about an issue, started to fill out forms (at this point there is no line now), and two people walk in as I am finishing. It's at this point Abby comes up to me, pulls on my shorts, and says, "Mommy I going to the bathroom." I look down and see no pee under her thankfully and look around frantically for a bathroom. I bend down and ask Abby, "Can you hold it?" to which she replies, "I already go." To my horror I look past Abby and see yellow puddles of urine starting at the toys she was playing with dotting the ground all the way to me. She had already gone and was soaked. I of course have no wipes (left diaper bag in car) and can't take her into a bathroom since there isn't one for the public. Well, one of the women working took pitty on me, annoyed but nice, and gave me some paper towels to clean it up and then led me back to the bathroom in the far back corner of the warehouse where Abby refused to go any more. I proceeded to take off her soaked underpants and wrap them in a napkin when the worker offered me a few more paper towels to wrap it in. We then walked all the way back out all the while the worker keeps glancing back at us making sure we don't steal someone's mail. Like I want more bills...please. We get back out to the main part and as I am gathering up my stuff a woman in line comments, "Oh, these floors are so dirty and she doesn't even have any shoes on. Why isn't she wearing shoes?" I am tempted to tell her that the floor is dirtier than she thinks and that the spot she is standing on had urine there seconds ago wiped up with only paper towels; Instead I just took Abby's hand and walked out to the car. I can laugh about it now, and I found it comical then, but couldn't laugh about it because the worker found it anything but comical! I love being a mom and wouldn't trade these moments for the world!!!!!!
