Cute Little Lucy!
Today Lucy came with us to get her 6 month pictures done at the same time. I just love her mom Sharron who has become a good friend. She has taken me under her wing, served me, and been so great! I am sad she will be leaving in less than a year, but I will just have to enjoy her as much as I can. I feel like we have known each other for a long time. More on my photography blog. Click here.
Cute Girls...
Mommy Daughters Date
Brian was on call so we thought we would have some fun and get the girls all dressed up, do their hair, paint their nails and feet, put on lip gloss and a necklace and head out to do a photoshoot. The girls had more fun getting ready, but Madison was fun on the shoot. Abby wouldn't cooperate...she is in this really cheesy faces only phase. I find it funny and fun to take pictures of. We also went with some friends and did her daughters six month old shoot. She was fun!
Abby's many faces...
Madison's first hair cut...
Combing the hair and getting it wet...
Cutting...I can't believe Madison let me...she has been fighting this for so long and today she said she wanted a haircut, so I did it!
Madison is four and this is her first hair cut. It was pretty much dead at the ends and needed a trim, so we watched a youtube video on how to cut hair and went for it. It was great fun and Madison was so excited. It looks so much healthier. More pics to come since we are doing a photoshoot tonight with a friend:-)
Pose...What are you doing Abby?
Sisterly love!
It was so sad to see Aunt Missy leave. Abby still asks where she is and when I tell her she is in Utah she says, "That where Mesia is."
Abby was so funny. When I would tell her to turn around and look at me, this is what she would do. I just wanted her to look over her shoulder. Instead she would flip around and pull this pose. Funny and cute, but not exactly what I was looking for:-)
Huron Lake

This is the lake we love to walk around. I has this boardwalk all around it. It's full of ducks, turtles, swans, blue herons, fish, and all sorts of wild life. These are the things we saw last time. The girls love it and it's so beautiful and peaceful.
We finally got the Swans to come over after bribing them with bread. Aren't they beautiful?
Madison has been watching Pocahontas A LOT lately and loves these willow trees. They look like Grandmother Willow from the movie. Abby and she plays in them all the time. They are everywhere here in MI.

"Aunt Missy is here!"
At the playground. They were playing tag and I made them stop for a picture.
Brian throwing Madison up in the air at Independence Lake. We have gone twice now and the girls love it. Abby can walk so far out before it gets deep.
Maybe one day we can sit in here for one game. The person who was there said if you got 20 people to share the suite with you it would only be $20/person...not too bad:-)
This was taken on our way to the Michigan Stadium. They just completed the construction on the new suites. We got to go and tour it. It was fun!
It is so fun to have Melissa here to visit. The girls can't wait for her to wake up and love it when she is awake. They love wearing their sunglasses together, playing at the playground, swimming at the lake, feeding the fish, taking walks, putting on make-up, and singing with her. She is such a school teacher. She never skips a beat to teach wether it's swimming, a new song, how to spell Madison's name, etc. It's great!!!!

First Horse Rides...
Just some tender moments...
Just thought I would post some pictures of Brian as a baby and as a Senior in HS. Now I am married to this man and love him to death. He is a great Father and husband and one couldn't ask for anyone better. The moments when I know he is exhausted, yet still play with the girls, read them books, and make them feel like they are his only concern in the world. He then gives me that same undivided attention and love. Thanks Brian!!! Isn't he such a cute baby? Madison and Abby just love looking at these pictures. As I was posting them Abby kept squealing in delight over them saying, "That's my daddy!"
He did it!
This is Brian in the 6th grade. He was suppose to come dressed in what he wanted to grow up to become. He knew at age 11 that he wanted to be a Doctor. Well, many years later, he has become an MD. He is now Dr. Brian Evans. I know he doesn't feel like a doctor or that he knows everything or even part of EVERYTHING, but he did graduate in June with his MD from Dartmouth Medical School. We weren't there to celebrate his graduation, but I wanted him to know that I am so proud of him. It wasn't always easy, but Brian kept going and working hard to become the best he could. He has grown in areas that only going through third year medical school could have done! We have now moved on to our next phase of life in Michigan. Brian is doing his Anesthesia training here while we enjoy the fun life and people of our town.

Pace Shoot. She is another Photographer here and her husband is Anesthesia too. Her girls are about the same age as Madison and Abigail. It was a fun shoot. More are here.
Our little outing...
