Hampton Beach
I know I am a bit late in posting these, but it's been a crazy time since we are moving at the end of this month. We went to the beach with some friends this last weekend and the girls loved it. They buried their dad in the sand, played in the water, built sand castles, and ran along the sandy beach. Hear are a few of our pictures from the excursion.
Abby loved the water and Madison lead her in for her first time. I wasn't going to let Abby go in because it's so darn cold, but she loves the water and insisted on going in. She loved it and kept trying to go in deeper.
But, when the water would come in, she would loose her sense of balance since the water was moving and she wasn't and Brian would have to catch her. What a dare devil. She loved it even though it kept making her fall in it. She didn't even mind the salty water!

Hill Cumorah Pageant
This is King Noah as a happy King after winning a war.
This is King Noah not so happy as Joshua burns him at the stake as Abinadi prophesied. Joshua is the one wearing the rug:-) with his hands up in the air shielding himself from the heat of the flames. He said Sat night the wind blew the flames his way and he almost got burned with Abinadi. He carries him up the stairs and actually punches him in the face when he tries to escape. (pretend of course)
Melissa was a harvest dancer and did a great job:-) It was fun to see them in the pageant.
This would be my first time seeing Joshua since he got off his mission in May!!!! I loved seeing him! What a great trip. Brian watched the kids for me and I got to go alone. It was blissful, but by that night I missed the kids. I had only been gone for half a day. They are part of me now I guess:-)

Fourth of July
I love this face of Madison's...she pulls it all the time. Brian took Madison to our little parade (lasted 10 minutes...no floats, bands, cheerleaders, etc. It consisted of 2 fire trucks, and ambulance, couple of old cars, and a bunch of kids on bikes) Madison loved the candy that they threw her and then she got to go to the Dartmouth green and pet some sheep, cows, and got to get in the fire truck. There you have it for small town fourth of July celebrations...bring back memories Melissa?
This is main street where the parade took place.

"Sit on me daddy"
Brian would act like he was going to rest on the couch and he pretends he doesn't see them until he is sitting on them. He then jumps up in the air and the girls just loved it. I would snap a shot after he jumped off of them. I love it!
water then bed
Madison and Abby love going to the local pool. I have to take some pictures of Madison in the water next time.
Madison fell asleep and I didn't know it since she had the sun glasses on. I asked her if she was tired and she said, "no, but my eyes keep closing." She didn't last much longer after that.
I don't know how they sleep that way. It looks totally uncomfortable to me.
