Today Abigail is turning 6 and I am flooded with a bunch of emotions. I know people always say that time goes by so fast and now I see how it does. I love this little blessing of ours that arrived April 4, 2008 weighing 7 lbs. 2 oz. She came out with huge lips and and a perfectly shaped head. Everyone that saw her said how beautiful of a baby she was. To us she was perfect and Madison was so happy to be a big sister. Some of the things I love about Abby is that she always loves to sing. Madison wants Abby to sing at her baptism and Abby was scared to. That's when we joked that maybe we should just bring a toilet and let her sit on that to sing since she is always singing in the bathroom. She loves to take her time in there and just sing. She also sings herself to sleep at night if I let her. She is my most affectionate daughter! She loves to be touching, cuddling, and can never get or give enough kisses or hugs. She sat on my lap through the entire movie "frozen" when we went and watched it in the theatre. She loves to draw and wants to be an artist when she grows up. She isn't afraid to try things especially after Madison does it. She learned to snowboard down the sledding hill this winter and picked it up so fast. She rollerblades, roller-skates, rides a two wheeler and scooter. She loves to kick a soccer ball, hit a softball, bounce a basketball, and is up for playing polly pockets any time of the day. She uses her imagination all of the time and likes to write stories, which she calls books, and do plays, write songs, and build castles with blocks. She is such a great big sister to Alice and is always up to playing with her. Alice feels this love and enjoys Abigail's attention. Abby teaches her new words all the time! Abby is such a joy to have around and what I love most about her right now is whenever I ask her to do something she usually says, "ok, mom." I love those words! Abby lights up our family and has the most contagious laugh!!!! At school there was a new girl that moved in and Abigail took her under her wing and sits by her, includes her in her play, and has been a good friend to her. When I took her lunch today a few of the kids wanted to sit by her. She seems to make friends easily and knows how to be a good friend. What a blessing it has been to have Abigail in our family. Pictures to come!!!
