"I want to call Grandma." Abby

I say "which one? Grandma McVea or Grandma Evans?"  To which she replies, "Grandma McEvans."

All Restrictions Lifted!!!!

I have had all restrictions lifted as to what I can do now with my knee.  Basketball here I come.  I am so excited!  It's been 5 months since playing ball or running.  I am excited to try this out.  I must say when they allowed me to bike I was in heaven.  We went on a long bike ride last weekend and I am looking forward to it again this weekend.  Biking with the family has become such a fun family tradition with the girls.  We go weekly when it's good weather.  I'll post some pictures soon:-)

Abby says...

We went and toured the new children's hospital and the girls got some hand sanitize and Abby calls it "hanitizer".  She says, "can I put some hanitizer on?"  I love it.  She also says "spelicun" for Skeleton.  It's so cute.  She also sings the song "Have you seen the ghost of Jon?" and there is a part that says 'with the skin all gone.' and no matter how many times I correct her she still sings it 'with the skin of God.'  I've tried to correct her, but she just won't sing it right.  It would be more funny if she wasn't saying 'God'.

Silly Goosey Abby

At the dinner table the other night we were having grapes and Abby said, "Those grapes spit my forehead."

Halloween Day/Night

Madison chose her designed face for her pumpkin, poked it, and then carved it all by herself.  It's fun to see my kids grow up, but it's happening so fast that I just want them to stay little forever.  I want to always be there for them and be able to put a band-aid on and have everything be ok.  I miss Madison while she is at school all day.  She is always coming home and telling me the things she is learning and I have to come to grips that she is really growing up.  I am loving their stages right now!  What a blessing these two little girls are in my life and Brian's.  We feel so blessed to be their parents.
Abby helping Brian carve his pumpkin.  Abby wouldn't touch the insides of the pumpkin and thought it was gross and disgusting.  Madison on the other hand just dived right in and loved the squishiness between her fingers.
About to head out Trick-or-Treating!!!  They were so excited!!!!  They loved the glow in the dark masks (thanks to Grandma Evans) and loved getting all the candy.

 Madison's Pumpkin
 Brian's pumpkin
They wanted to hide in the bushes and watch their masks glow.
Abby's small pumpkin.  This was actually pumpkin number two since her first pumpkin was smashed out in front of our house along with mine.  It was pretty sad actually.  We had picked them from a pumpkin patch and everything.  She was a good sport about it and Madison said "it was probably a boy. They do stuff like that."
After Trick-or-Treating.  Still happy:-)  Cute girls...

Birthday Flowers

Brian surprised me with these the day after my birthday...they were so beautiful and the girls just loved them.  They kept asking for my tulips:-)  Thanks honey!
