Brian has this weekend off and so we decided to take advantage of that and go on a morning hike. It was colder than we thought and once we got near the top there was snow. Madison climbed almost to the top of the fire tower (if you have been you would know that is high). She loved it and cried when we had to head back down the mountain. She was so independant and wanted to walk as much of the trail by herself as she could. She felt so big and would get the biggest smile of accomplishment on her face every once in a while. It was a fun activity for all of us!
